Jeffrey Ball

Jeffrey Ball is an award-winning writer whose stories and essays about energy and the environment have appeared in such publications as Wired, Fortune, Foreign Affairs, Mother Jones, Texas Monthly, The New Republic, The Atlantic, and The New York Times. As the scholar-in-residence at Stanford University’s Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance, a lecturer at Stanford Law School, and a nonresident senior fellow at The Brookings Institution, he writes, researches and teaches about the global decarbonization push. Previously he spent 14 years at The Wall Street Journal as the paper’s environment editor and as a reporter and columnist focusing on the business of climate change.
