DATA CENTERS

  • U.S. data center developers are proposing nearly 100 natural gas plants to power their operations, and while many are unlikely to be built, a BloombergNEF analysis finds their construction could significantly raise the country’s carbon emissions. (Bloomberg)

EFFICIENCY

  • Home decarbonization startup BlocPower tells investors it will shut down and liquidate its assets, after it said last month that it would sell its IP and software in an attempt to reinvigorate the business. (Latitude Media)

SOLAR
