Let the sun shine

A Minnesota environmental group is sponsoring a solar-themed video contest with a $1,500 prize up for grabs.

Tis the season for environmentally themed video contests here in Minnesota.

Environment Minnesota has announced a new contest called Putting the Sun to Work,” in which aspiring videographers can compete for prizes of up to $1,500. Judges include none other than actor/​comedian Rich Kronfeld, aka Wally Hotvedt of Let’s Bowl” fame:

The contest has specific length and content guidelines, and Environment Minnesota has provided this puzzling (and slightly unsettling) example for inspiration:

Deadline is July 18, and finalists will be posted in early August. We’ll post them here, too, if they’re available.
