Auxin Solar tariff case

Auxin Solar, a small panel manufacturer based in California, petitioned the U.S. Commerce Department to impose new tariffs on solar modules imported from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, which have been supplying about 80 percent of U.S. solar panel imports. The Commerce Department is investigating the issue, but Biden announced in June 2022 that any new tariffs would be postponed for two years.
